SUBJECT: Mayors Blue Ribbon Panel on Sea '. evel Rise — Recommendations Pertaining to
Non -Conforming FAR
On March 7, 2017, the Mayors Blue Ribbon Panel on Sea Level Rise discussed a proposed
ordinance amendment pertaining to Non -Conforming Buildings. As part of this discussion, the
Blue Ribbon Panel recommended that the City Commission refer a separate discussion item to
the Planning Board, pertaining to Legal Non -Conforming FAR, and for the Planning Board to
make a recommendation.
The Administration recommends that the City Commission consider the above noted
recommendation of the Mayors Blue Ribbon Panel on Sea Level Rise and provide appropriate
policy direction.
