The objection was based in part on the fact that the official ballot nowhere indicates that the vote is to determine "sole and exclusive representation" and also that certain members of the fire department were arbitrarily and unreasonably excluded from the right to vote. We respectfully request the right to be heard at any Council Meet- ing or elsewhere when the matter of a contract with Local 1510, International Association of Firefighters, is considered. If the City should enter into a contract with Local 1510 based upon the aforesaid election, then and in that event appropriate action will be instituted on behalf of the Miami Beach Police and Firemen's Benevolent Association and its members.
