produce a series of workshops. The first workshop will cover the process for
board/committee application, as well as understanding the Government in the Sunshine

better understand the board/committee application process from application to appointment
approval, and the laws which govern participation on a city board/committee.
This session will be on February 9th from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in the Commission
Chambers. City Clerk Bob Parcher and the City of Miami Beach City Attorney's Office, Jean

A two series workshop on public speaking skills is also scheduled. The objective of these
workshops is to help participants present to the City Commission more effectively and with
increased comfort and effectiveness.
