AMENDMENT TO GRANT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH
AND South F]orida's Composer's Allianceo ]nc , DATED November 28th . 2000.
This Amendment to the Grant Agreement dated November 28th . 2000 between the
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, a F]orida municipal corporation, having its principal office at 1700
Convention Center Drive, Miami Beach, F]orida, 33139, hereinafter referred to as the "City", and

The above named organization is hereinafter referred to as "Grantee."
WITNESSETII:
Whereas, on Ju]y 26, 2000, through Reso]ution Number 2000-24033, the Mayor and City
Commission authorized the Mayor and City Clerk to execute a Grant Agreement between the City
and the Grantee, for a cultural arts grant, in the amount of $120000 . to support cultural arts
offerings in Miami Beach (Agreement); and
Whereas, the City has allocated additional funds to the Cultural Arts Council's (Council) Grant
Program, pursuant to Resolution No. 2001-24264; and
Whereas, accordingly, the City deems it in the best interest to amend the Agreement with Grantee,
in the amount of $12.000 by an additional $2.400; thus totaling $]4.400.
Whereas, the Council has allocated these additional funds according to the process approved by the
Mayor and City Commission on July 26, 2000, via Reso]ution Number 2000-24033 and, on
February 2], 200], via Resolution No. 200]-24264.
NOW THEREFORE, the Agreement is hereby amended as follows:
L Article], subsection 2 of the Agreement, entitled "Grant Amount" , is amended to reflect the
new amount as follows:
Original award, $]2,l:l9l:l to $]4.400
2. Exhibit 2B entitled, "Revised Project Budget/Grant Award Budget" is deleted in its entirety and
herein replaced with a new Exhibit 2B, attached hereto and incorporated in this Amendment.
3. All other terms and conditions ofthe Agreement between City and Grantee shall remain in full
force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused this Amendment to the Agreement to be
executed by their duly authorized officials on the first day above indicated.

All publications associated with Miami Beach Cultural Arts COWlcil grant support must include the
City of Miami Beach Cultural Arts COWlcil's logo and the following byline "City of Miami Beach"
Grant funds may not be nsed for:
RemWleration of City employees for any services rendered as part of a project receiving a grant from
the City of Miami Beach Cultural Arts Crnmcil
"Bricks and mortar" or permanent equipment (permanent equipment necessary for proposed project
may be purchased if the price is less than what is would cost to rent the equipment)
