Carlos Alvarez dated March 30, 2009, announcing the American Heart Association (AHA)
premiere fundraising event taking place on Saturday, October 3, 2009.

1"he American Heart Association (AHA) is gearing up for its premiere fundraising event,
the 2009 Miami Dade Start! Heart Walk on Saturday, October 3, 2009, at 8:30 a.m., at
Tropical Park, located at 7900 SW 40th Street, in Miami. The walk will be a 5K. As you
may know, I have been a longtime supporter of the AHA and will be participating in this
year's walk.
Heart disease is the number one killer of Americans and stroke is number three. AHA is
committed to research, improving treatments, reaching out to high-risk populations and
improving the overall health of our residents.
While budgets are tight and calendars are full, whatever you can do to support this
