RESOLUTION 2001-24556
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ACCEPTING A DONATION OF
EXERCISE EQUIPMENT FROM DACRA DEVELOPMENT
CORPORATION ON BEHALF OR THE FIRE DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, Dacra Development wishes to donate exercise equipment to the Fire
Department. The approximate value of the exercise equipment is $10,982.00.
WHEREAS, The Fire Department has gym space in each Fire Station and is in need of
exercise equipment to maintain the health and fitness of the Firefighters.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City herein accepts
a donation of exercise equipment from Dacra Development Corporation on behalf of the Fire
Department.

Adopt the Resolution.
ANALYSIS:
Dacra Development Corporation has acquired the property at 81 Washington Avenue, the XIS
Fitness Center. Dacra Development Corporation wishes to donate some of the exercise equipment
from the fitness center to the Fire Department. This generous donation would benefit the health and
fitness of the Firefighters at each of our four stations. The value of the donation is approximately
$10,892.
The City Commission should adopt this Resolution.
