SUBJECT: Robert C. Middaugh -Extension of Separation Date
The purpose of this LTC is to advise you that effective Monday, November 2, 2009, Robert C.
Middaugh will be delaying his retirement and rejoining the City Manager's Office on a temporary
basis as an Assistant City Manager.
Given some of the recent personnel changes that I have made in my office, ,Bob has agreed to
assist the City and me in the transition, while we continue to provide excellent public service to our
residents, businesses and visitors. Bob will handle specific departmental assignments and various
projects while in this position.
Please join me in extending our thanks to Mr. Middaugh for agreeing to extend his retirement date.
He will surely provide continuity at the executive level, while 1 complete the Assistant City Manager
recruitment process, and further refine the organizational structure.
As these refinements are made, I will communicate them to you. In the meantime, if you have any
