Re: August 1, 2010 Transition o, f PEG Channels to Digital
Dear Mr. Gonzalez;
This letter is to give the City of Miami Beach a reminder (prior reference letter dated March 8~',
2010) that, effective August 1, 2010, Atlantic Broadband will be transitioning all public,
educational and governmental ("PEG") channels in our cable system to our lowest tier of digital
service. The transition of these channels is part of an overall transition of our cable television
system to a digital format, providing better picture quality and allowing us to provide High
Definition and other broadband services that our customers demand. The affected channels are:
76 Miami-Dade Television
77 Local Municipal Access
78 CableTAP Community -CTAPC
79 CableTAP Learning -CTAPL
Our Limited and Value Video customers do not need to change their level of service to continue
watching these channels however, additional equipment may be necessary unless they have a TV
set with a digital tuner already built in. For customers with Atlantic Broadband provided Di ig'tal
equipment there will be no change in channel location and no action is required.
Customers using TVs equipped with integrated digital tuners will find these chamlels at the
following locations as of August 1St:
29.76 Miami-Dade Television
Local Municipal Access:
29.1 Aventura
29.2 Bal Harbor
29.3 Bay Harbor Islands
29.4 Miami Beach
29.5 North Bay Village
29.6 Sunny Isles
29.7 SurfSide
29.8 Golden Beach
29.9 South Miami
29.78 CableTAP Community -CTAPC
29.79 CableTAP Learning -CTAPL

For the minority of our customers who do not subscribe to a digital service or who do not have a
digital television set and who want to view the PEG channels, we are offering special converters
so that they can continue to view these channels as of August 1St. Atlantic Broadband will make
these converters available for $1.00 per month beginning in mid-July, 2010. Customers may
contact us at 888-752-4222 for more information or to secure a new converter.
We are making every effort to ensure that there is a smooth transition. We initially notified
customers of this change beginning in March and have continued to communicate with them
throughout the past few months. Our final customer notification in advance of this transition
begins June 22 and will continue through July 21.
Please feel free to call me at 305-861-8069 ext.5101 if you have any additional questions or
concerns.
