. On March 12, 2010, via LTC. # 075-2010, Atlantic Broadband advised that effective August
1, 2010, they would be transitioning all public, educational, and governmental ("PEG"~
Channels to the lowest tier of digital service.
Attached for your perusal is an update letter from Atlantic Broadband advising that they are
delaying transitioning the .Local Municipal Access Channel 77 to Digital Format only as
previously announced.

Dear Mr. Gonzalez:
This letter is to give the City of Miami Beach an important update regarding the August 1, 2010
transition of the public, educational and governmental ("PEG") channels in our cable system to
our lowest tier of digital service. A Broadband will delay our plans to transition the Local
Municipal_Access Channel 77 to Digital Format On y as previously announced. Therefore, until
further notice your city's government programming will continue to be available in analog format
only on Ch. 77.
While this delay will not affect our customers' ability to view city programming on channel 77
we are placing the following message on billing statements, from July 24 through August 24, to
notify them that this channel will not transition as previously scheduled.
Customer message: Local Municipal Access on Ch. 77 will not change to Digital
Format Only on August 1, 2010 as previously announced. Until further notice your city's
government programming will continue to be available in analog format only on Ch. 77.
The delay of the Municipal Access Channel move does not impact the move of the
- - ~ -- remaining three public, educational and' governmental("PEG") channels in our cable-"system to
our lowest tier of digital service as scheduled. on August L•

As before; for customers with Atlantic Broadband.-provided Di itg al equipment there will be no
change in channel location and no action is re4uired.
Customers using TVs equipped with integrated digital tuners will find these channels at the

29.79 CableTAP Learning -CTAPL

For the minority of our customers who do not subscribe to a digital service or who do not have a
digital television set and who want to view the PEG channels, special converters are now
available for $1.00 per month so that they can continue to view these channels. Customers may
contact us at 888-752-4222 for more information or to secure a new converter.
