The purpose of this LTC is to inform you of the most recent "CityVision" now-airing' on:
MBTV-77. Attached-for your review and reference is a DVD copy of the latest prograXn. ;;§4~ '
As part of Miami Beach's ongoing efforts to provide enhanced information to the community,
the Office of Communications produces a 30-minute video news magazine, "CityVision",
which helps us share the City's progress in meeting the goals of its strategic plan. The latest
edition of "CityVision" is now airing on MBTV77, our government access cable TV station.
The October/November 2010 edition of "CityVision" features the following new stories:
. • After a year of hard. work, the City's Fiscal Year 2010/2011 Operating Budget has
been approved, and we break down the details for our viewers;
• Cost-savings are allowing the City to revamp the Temperature/Date Monument on
Ocean Drive;
• Two (2) major events aimed at developing healthy kids and teens in Miami Beach
- are taking place;
• A celebration of the improvements across the Normandy Shores Neighborhood;
• A look inside the beautiful renovation of the Scott Rakow Youth Center;
• A glimpse at some of the exciting things ahead for Art Basel Miami Beach 2010;
• The Parks and Recreation Department is making it easy for new moms to get fit;
• The City's communication efforts are winning awards; and,
• The International Coastal Cleanup happens on our beaches.
