Marvin Silverrnan Dear Mayor and Honorable City Commission:
Scott Timm
Seth Wasserman The Transportation and Parking Committee would like to alert you on new
guidelines the Federal Government is passing regarding the maximum weight of
trucks. The weight will be going up by 15 -20%, and some trucks will need to
have more than 18 wheels. The main concern and question is, if the bridges)
and upcoming tunnel will be capable of handling this new weight.
The Committee urges the Mayor and City Commission to look into this
extremely urgent issue.
Sincerely, "
Transportation and Parking Committee
