Marvin Silverman were provided with the below update on the Port of Miami Tunnel Project.

■ -There will be additional lane closures on the McCarthur Causeway for an
undetermined length of time; notices will be distributed when there will be
lane closures.

■ Two 20 foot walls are being erected by the entrance to the tunnel. The
County's Arts in Public Places as well as the Transportation Aesthetics
Review Committee, will review the design of the entrance. The TPC
requested that Miami Beach be involved in this process.
■ The TPC was concerned about their hurricane preparedness plans. Would
the tunnel flood? They will be bringing these plans to our January meeting.
