The Transportation and Parking Committee met on January 3, 2011, and
were provided With an update on the success of the City's Red Light Cameras
Program. It was reported that approximately 29 tickets are issued on a daily
basis.
After taking out the State's share, cost of the cameras and operational costs, it is
estimated that the City will net around $200,000 a year. They are looking at
relocating some of the underperforming cameras to different intersections.
Sincerely,
Transportation and Parking Committee
