LTC 224-2011 Listing of Vacant Positions as of 7/27/2011 BEAC H
OFFICE OF THE CITY MANAGER
NO. LTC # 224 -2011 LETTER TO COMMISSION
TO: Mayor Matti Herrera Bower and Members of the City Commission
FROM: Jorge M. Gonzalez, City Manager
DATE: September 7, 2011 10
SUBJECT: LISTING OF VACANT POSITIONS AS OF 7/27/2011
In follow -up to the Finance and Citywide projects Committee meeting of July 28, 2011,
attached is a listing of vacant positions as of 7/27/2011. As I previously outlined in my LTC
188 -2011 of 7/27/11, it is important to note that, while a budgeted City position may be
vacant, the position may be filled with an outside agency employee or contracted
professional services. The attached listing identifies the 41 vacant positions in the General
Fund (and 72 total positions across all funds) which were vacant (and not filled by outside
temporary agency positions or professional services) as of the report date. It should be
noted that some of these positions have since been filled.
