The purpose of this Letter to Commission (LTC) is to inform you that our latest edition of
CityVision is currently airing on MBTV77. As you know, CityVision is part of Miami Beach's
ongoing efforts to provide enhanced information about the City to our community.
The October /November 2011 edition of "CityVision" features the following newsworthy
stories:

• The FY 2011/12 budget gap was met by city officials without raising your property tax
rate, we break down the numbers;
• We show you the latest improvements at South Pointe Park and the plans to replace
the pier;
• A report on Miami Beach's dune restoration efforts & details on our latest "green"
energy efforts across the City; and,
• A look at Zumba — the latest exercise craze now available through our Parks &
Recreation Department.
Other stories covered include a report on our city's new Human Rights Committee, details on
our " StormReady" designation from the National Weather Service, a look at the new MiMo
Website and we take you to the city's 9/11 Commemoration Ceremony.
This edition was shot inside the new location of the Miami Beach Cinematheque on the
ground flood of our Historic City Hall building on Washington Avenue.
