The Committee for Quality Education would like you to be aware of the attached motion regarding the
offering of foreign language classes for high school credit at Nautilus Middle School, Fienberg Fisher
K -8 Center, and Ruth K. Broad Bay Harbor K -8, which was approved at their October 23, 2012,
committee meeting.

Motion Text:
The Committee for Quality Education requests the Mayor and Commission support the amendment to
expand the motion regarding foreign language offerings from the September 24, 2012 meeting to
include foreign language levels 3 and 4 for high school credit to ensure high school bearing credit
courses in foreign languages are offered at Nautilus Middle, Fienberg- Fisher K -8 and Ruth K. Broad
K-8.
The Committee for Quality Education urges for the Mayor and Commission to support the above
request.
