SUBJECT: Status of the Art in Public Place Call to Artists for the South Pointe Park Pier"Gate"
The purpose of this LTC is to inform you of the status of the Art in Public Places (AiPP) Call to
Artists for the South Pointe Park Pier"Gate."
On April 26, 2013, an email notification of a scheduled and publicly noticed May 7, 2013 community
meeting on this subject was sent to the South of Fifth Street Neighborhood Association and other
residents.
On May 7, 2013, there will be a Design Review Board agenda item and presentation of the
conceptual aspect of AiPP gate intervention project.
At 6:00 p.m. on May 7, 2013, there will be a Tourism and Cultural Development presentation at the
South Pointe Park Community Room of the AiPP Committee recommendation and the proposals
received for the Call to Artists.
On May 20, 2013, there will be a Neighborhoods/Community Affairs Committee agenda item and
presentation of AiPP recommendation and the proposals received for the Call to Artists.
The Administration is making every effort to keep the public informed throughout this process.
