I have always had an appreciation for the holiday decor in Miami Beach but dreamed of the day when I would have the chance to participate in helping and improving the beautification of the City during the holiday season. If awarded the Project, I look forward to working with the most excellent and professional City of Miami Beach team that services our community each and every day. I believe that by working closely together with City Commissioners, the Mayor, and all other City staff, Miami Christmas Lights can greatly assist in elevating the City's holiday decor and help to maintain the Miami Beach reputation of being the best community in the country. I believe that with this opportunity to work with City management, we will not only continue to improve the City's holiday decorations, but also highlight the extraordinary members of this community through a student banner campaign and student/charity themed tree. As we all are well aware, Miami Beach is one of the most premier communities in the United States, flooded with millions of visitors from around the world, especially during the holiday season. This is a unique and rare opportunity to bring awareness to the larger issues at hand and to unite the community in an attempt to tackle these issues together. I am confident that Miami Christmas Lights can add this special decor dedicated to key initiatives in Miami Beach and generate lasting impressions on visitors and residents alike. Due to the close proximity of our office and fact that I personally reside in the City, Miami Christmas Lights will be able to offer unmatched service. Not only will our teams proactively monitor the lights, if the City alerts of us and outage, we are less than 10 miles away from the repair. We will strive to respond in 1 hour or less without any reason to be longer than that. Our service is the backbone of our company and what has allowed us to enjoy the triple digit growth over the past several season. Due to the timing of the ITB and the close proximity of holiday season, I urge the City to make a quick decision on the Project. Miami Christmas Lights is already preparing for this project and is ready to immediately transport all decor from CDI, inspect and refurbish all necessary inventory. I have arranged and blocked out time in our installation calendar in order to timely install all Project decor. I am aware of this large undertaking, however am confident that our team is fully capable of handling this Project and by proactively planning, Miami Christmas Lights will be able to achieve this task without any delay or hindrance to the December 2'd installation deadline. Again, I thank each and all of you for the opportunity to bid this Project. I have a personal connection to this wonderful City of Miami Beach, as I have been a resident since 2005 and I take pride in being a part of this community and all of its affairs. I look forward to working with the City and I am eager to help continue the beautifying of this special community. If I can be of any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me directly on my cell phone at 305.609.5878 or by email—kurt @miamichristmaslights.com. We presented countless new technologies for interactive display that fit the direction given by the client. Our design team created multiple themes and rendered drawings of the property to ensure we exceeded our client's expectations. When the project was finally selected, Miami Christmas Lights had the daunting task of installing over 11,000 ' strings of Christmas lights on over 470 trees working around the clock with several teams for a month straight. We utilized all of our resources to ensure the project was done on schedule and ready to go as the client had requested. We continually maintained the property sending a team of personnel every night to ensure the display was no less than magical. The project was so exceptional that local TV station Channel 7 sent a reporter to interview both the mall and our company. Thousands of customers flooded the mall to see the lights causing traffic jams as they stared in awe. Aventura Mall was overwhelmingly pleased with the design, service and outcome of the project.
