SUBJECT: Evaluation Committee Relative to Request for Proposals (RFP) No. 2016-086-WG, for
Health Plan Services and Benefits to the City of Miami Beach Active Employees, Dependents, Pre-65
Retirees, and Post-65 Retirees
The purpose of this LTC is to update the Mayor and City Commission on the status of Request for
Proposals (RFP) No. 2016-086-WG, which seeks to establish an agreement with a qualified firm(s) for
health plan services and benefits to the City of Miami Beach active employees, dependents, pre-65
retirees, and post-65 retirees.
The City expects to receive proposals pursuant to this RFP on Thursday,April 28,2016. The responsive
proposals will be reviewed by the Evaluation Committee in accordance with the criteria established in the
RFP.
I am considering appointing the following individuals to serve on the Evaluation Committee:
• Sonia Bridges, Division Director Risk & Benefits, Human Resources Department
• Dwayne Drury, Assistant Fire Chief, Fire Department
• Lauren Wynn, Senior Management & Budget Analyst, Office of Budget and Performance
Improvement
• Karen Rivo, Registered Nurse, Health Advisory Committee Member
• Robert Parr, Chief of Compensation and Benefits, City of Jacksonville
I am also considering the following individuals as alternates:
• Rafael Granado, City Clerk, Office of the City Clerk
• Jose DelRisco, Human Resources Assistant Director, Human Resources Department
• Natasha Diaz-Rojas, Senior Management& Budget Analyst, Office of Budget and
Performance Improvement
