Richard Streim Dear Honorable Mayor and City Commission:
On November 7th, the Transportation, Parking& Bicycle-Pedestrian Facilities
Committee (TPBPFC) met and unanimously passed the below motions:
Parking at Biscayne Beach(Mayor&Commission Referral Item)
The TPBPFC recommends to go ahead with striping.
Bus Survey Results to Identify Transportation Needs of Public School Children
within Two-mile Limit of Home School (Mayor&Commission Referral Item)
The TPBPFC cannot support this effort until a cost is provided and requests that
no action is taken at the Finance and Citywide Projects Committee meeting.
Painted Bike Lanes(Mayor&Commission Referral Item)
The TPBPFC would like to communicate to Commissioner Rosen-Gonzalez that
the painted bike lanes are very effective and the overall alignment is great.
As an advisory Committee, we would greatly appreciate your consideration on
these motions.
Sincerely,
Transportation, Parking& Bicycle-Pedestrian Facilities Committee
