The fine shall be $50 per day for each late day, not to exceed 25% of the total receipts or expenditures, which ever is greater. Upon receipt of the report, the filing officer shall determine the amount of the fine which is due and shall notify the candidate. Please be advised that my office received a copy of your Campaign Treasurer's Report (DS-DE 12-13- and 14) on October 4, 1997. The due date was October 3rd. The total late days are one(l). Multiplying the total late days - 1 times the $50 per day late fee assessment equals $50.00. Your total contributions as reported were $8,190 and your total expenditures were $1,298.40. Using the greater of the two, $8,190 times 25% equals $2,047.50. The fine shall not exceed 25% of the total receipts or expenditures, therefore the total amount of the late fee is $50.00. ~ Again, pursuant to 106.07(8)(b) F.S. such fines shall be paid to the filing officer within 20 days ~er receipt of the notice of payment due, unless appeal is made to the Florida Elections Commission pursuant to paragraph (c). In the case of a candidate, such fine shall not be an allowable campaign expenditure and shall be paid only from personal funds of the candidate. Multiplying the total late days- 4 times the $50 per day late fee assessment equals $200.00. Your total contributions as reported were $9,349 and your total expenditures were $16,263.28. Using the greater of the two, $16,263.28 times 25% equals $4,065.82. The fine shall not exceed 25% of the total receipts or expenditures, therefore the total amount of the late fee is $200.00. Additionally, you owe $50 for filing a late report due on October 3. The total amount due is $250.00. Payment must be received by December 8,1997. The fine shall be $50 per day for each late day, not to exceed 25% of the total receipts or expenditures, which ever is greater. Upon receipt of the report, the filing officer shall determine the amount of the fine which is due and shall notify the candidate. Please be advised that my office received a copy of your Campaign Treasurer's Report (DS-DE 12-13- and 14) on October 4,1997. The due date was October 3rd. The total late days are one(1). Multiplying the total late days - 1 times the $50 per day late fee assessment equals $50.00. Your total contributions as reported were $8,190 and your total expenditures were $1,298.40. Using the greater of the two, $8,190 times 25% equals $2,047.50. The fine shall not exceed 25% of the total receipts or expenditures, therefore the total amount of the late fee is $50.00. Again, pursuant to 106.07(8)(b) F.S. such fines shall be paid to the filing officer within 20 days after receipt of the notice of payment due, unless appeal is made to the Florida Elections Commission pursuant to paragraph (c). In the case of a candidate, such fine shall not be an allowable campaign expenditure and shall be paid only from personal funds of the candidate.
