Ordinance 1455 ORDINANCE NO. -1 -
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 289,
COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE "ZONING ORDINANCE
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA".
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Section 16 of Ordinance No. 289, commonly known
as the "Zoning Ordinance of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida", be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto,
immeu"ia.tely preceding the last paragraph thereof, the following:
"DISTRICT NO. 75 . There shall be a front
yard having a depth of not less than 40
feet measured from Alton Road; a rear yard
having a depth of not less than 5 feet;
and a side yard having a width of not less
than 5 feet on either (each) side of a
building. "
SECTION 2: That Ordinance No. 289, commonly known as the
"Zoning Ordinance of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida", and the maps attached thereto and made a part thereof,
be amended so as to exclude from the "RC" Estate District and
from Area District No. 5, and to include in the "RE" Multiple-
Family District and in Area District No. 75, as said districts
are defined in said ordinance, that certain parcel of land
situate in Miami Beach, Dade County, Florida, described as
follows f to wit:
"Lot E, a resubdivision of Lots 48 through
51, Block 1, NAUTILUS SUB. , Plat Book 35,
Page 46, of the Public Records of Dade
County, Florida. "
SECTION 3 : That Ordinance No. 289, commonly known as the
"Zoning Ordinance of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida: , and the maps attached thereto and made a part thereof,
be amended so as to exclude from the "RC" Estate District and
from Area District No. 7, and to include in the "RE" Multiple-
Family District and in Area District No. 62, as said districts
are defined in said ordinance, that certain parcel of land
situate in Miami Beach, Dade County, Florida, described as
follows, to wit:
"Lots 52, 53 and 54, Block 1, NAUTILUS
SUB. , Plat Book 8, Page 59 of the Public
Records of Dade ColInty, Floricl.a, less that
part of Lot 54, Block 1, as hereinafter
set forth:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of said
Lot 54, run thence East 63 .9 feet along
the South line of said Lot 54 to a point;
run thence Northwest 76 feet to the West
line of said Lot 54 at a point 37 feet
North from the Southwest corner thereof;
run thence South 37 feet along the West
line of said Lot 54 to the Point of
Beginning; containing 0 .027 acres, more
or less . "

SECTION 4: That all ordinances in conflict herewith be and the
same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 5 : That this ordinance shall go into effect immediately
upon its passing and posting as required by law.

was at the door of the City Hall in said City on the
5th day of September, 1962, and that said Ordinance
remained posted for a period of at least thirty days in
accordance with the requirements of the City Char-ter of the
said City of Miami Beach.
