BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Section 17.16 of ",he Code of the City of 1liami Beach,
Florida, 1950" , be and the same is hereby amended to read

license. Each person or firm engaged in the
business of a pawnbroker or conducting a
pawnbrolc,ing shop in the city, shall l-eep a

every article or thing pawned to or purchased

SECTION 2: All ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are
hereby repealed.
SECTION 3 : The welfare of the City being imperiled, the three read-
ings of this ordinance shall be had in one session, and
the City Council finding that this ordinance is necessary for the
immediate protection of its citizens, it shall therefore go into
effect immediately upon its passage.
