The Committee for Quality Education would like you to be aware of the following motion requesting
the enforcement of a zero tolerance drug policy for all public schools in the feeder pattern, approved
at the May 23, 2017 committee meeting.

Motion Text:
The Committee for Quality Education requests that the Miami Beach Mayor and Commission,
through the Education Compact, urge the Miami Beach police department and Miami -Dade
County Public Schools (M-DCPS) police department to develop and vigorously enforce a zero
tolerance drug policy for Miami Beach Senior High School and feeder schools, to be
implemented prior to the start of the 2017-18 school year.
The Committee for Quality Education urges the Mayor and Commission to support the above
request.
