BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY �F NlIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTI4N l: That the existing Section 16-B of �rdinance No.
289, commonly knawn as the "Zoning Ordinance of
Miami Beach, Florida"� said section being entitled "Parking
Regulations", be and the same is hereby repealed.
SECTION 2: That a new Section 16-B be and the same is
hereby added to Ordinance No. 289, commonly
known as the "Zoning Ordinance of Miami Beach, Florida", to be
entitled "Parking Regulations" and to read as follows:

Parking Regulations
Parkinq Districts Established

For the purpose of establishing off-street parking
req_,uirements, the City of Miami Beach shall be
divided into two c�istricts.
Parking District Na. 1.- Parking District No. 1 is
that area in the City of Miami Beach, Florida, not
included in Parking District No. 2.
Parking District No, 2- Parking �istrict No. 2 is
that area in the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
encompassed by a line drawn as follows:
Commencing at the north side of 44th
Street and the east side of Collins
Avenue extended as point of beginning;
thence run westerly along the north side
of 44th Street to the east bank of Indian
Creek; thence run northerly a].ong the
east bank of Indian Creek to the south
side af 63rd Street; thence run easterly
along the south side of 63rd Street to
the east side of Collins Avenue; thence
run northerly along the east side of
Collins Avenue to the south side o� 69th
Street; thence run easterly along the
south side of 69th Street extended to the
established harbor line in the Atlantic
O�ean; thence run southerly along the
established harbor line in the Atlantic
Ocean to the north side of 44th Street
extended; thence run westerly along the
nortl� side of 44th Street to the point
of beginning.

Except as otherwise provided in this Ordinance,
when any building or structure is erected or
structurally altered to the extent of increasing
the floor area by fifty (50j percent or more,
accessory off-street parkinq spaces shall be
provided in accordance with the building or
structure as follows:

30. Marina - 2 spaces per boat berth.
"B. Parking District No. 2 -
The off-street parking required in this district
shall be the same as set forth in P�rking Dis trict
No, l above� except as follaws:
Apartment buildina and a�ar�ent-hotel -- l space
for each l efficiency unit, spaces for every
2 one-bedroom units, 3 spaces for every 2 dwelling
units with 2 or more bedrooms. Dwelling unit with

SECTION 3 Nothing contained herein shall be deemed to affect or
vary the provisions of any variance heretofore granted
or any variance granted prior to the effective date of this
ordinance.

SECTZON 5 This ordinance shall go into eifect ninety (90) days
