AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.
289, COMMONLY KNOWN AS "THE ZONING
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA."
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Section 18 of Ordinance No. 289, commonly
known as "The Zoning Ordinance of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida," reading as follows:
"Section 18
It shall be the duty of the Building
Inspector to enforce this ordinance"
be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
SECTION 2.
repealed.
SECTION 3.
Attest:
"Section 18
It shall be the duty of the Director of
the Planning and Zoning Department to
enforce this ordinance. Where uses of
land or buildings are authorized by the
provisions of this ordinance, but the same
are not specifically set forth, enumerated
or defined therein, the Director of the
Planning and Zoning Department shall not
issue any permit for, or approve or
authorize the same without the prior con-

Director of Public Works."

places in the City of Miami Beach, one of which was at the door

and that said Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least
thirty days in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter
of the said City of Miami Beach.
