AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 7 OF
THE CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Chapter 7 of the Code of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, be and the same is hereby amended by
adding new sections thereto, to be numbered and to read as follows:
"Section 7.16.2 No watercraft of any nature
whatsoever shall be moored at any publicly owned
bank or shore unless under a lease or permit issued
by the City."
"Section 7.16.3 Any person who shall violate or fail
to comply with any of the provisions of this ordinance
shall be punished by a fine of not more than One Hundred
($100.00) Dollars. Each day that a violation is per-
mitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense;
provided, however, that the violation of this ordinance
shall also constitute a civil trespass, for which the
City may institute such action for trespass and damages
or such other civil action as it may deem appropriate,
in addition to the above and foregoing penalties here-
in provided."
SECTION 2: That any ordinance or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.

upon its passage and posting, as required by law.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 7 OF "THE
CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,"
having been passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in three conspicuous
places in the City of Miami Beach, one of which was at the door
of the City Hall in said City on the 30th day of October, 1970,
and that said Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least
thirty days in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter
of the said City of Miami Beach.
