AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2g9, BEING THE
ZONING ORDINANCE OF SAID CITY SO AS
TO OMIT "LOCKSMITH SHOPS, SHARPENING
AND GRINDING SHOPS" FROM ITS PRESENT
"BC" BUSINESS DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION
AND PLACE SAME IN THE "BA" BUSINESS
DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1:

SECTION 3:
SECTION 4:
That Section 9 of Ordinance No. 2g9, as amended,
be and the same is hereby amended by omitting the
following:
"(9) Locksmith shops, sharpening and
grinding shops."
That Section 7 of Ordinance No. 289, as amended,
be and the same is hereby amended by adding there-
to, following the words "(5) Night Clubs, only upon
approval and . pe rmit by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach":
0(6) Locksmith shops, sharpening and
grinding shops."
All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage, approval and posting in accordance
with law.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of June, A. D., 1936.

certify that Ordinance No. 428 entitled AN ORDINANCE
OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 289, BEING THE ZONING ORDINANCE
OF SAID CITY SO AS TO OMIT "LOCKSMITH SHOPS, SHARPENING
AND GRINDING SHOPS" FROM ITS PRESENT "BC" BUSINESS
DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION AND PLACE SAME IN THE "BA"
BUSINESS DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION", having been duly
passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in three con-
spicuous places in the City of Miami Beach, one of which
was at the door of the City Hall in said City on the
4th day of June, A. D., 1936, and that said Ordinance
remained posted for a period of at least thirty days in
accordance with the requirements of the City Charter of
the said City of Miami Beach.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set

Miami Beach, Florida, on this the loth day of July, A. D.,
1936.
