13113 RESOLUTION NO. 13113
WHEREAS , since the filing of the plat of Amended
FIRST OCEAN FRONT SUBDIVISION, which was recorded in Plat
Book 9 at Page 78 of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida, the boundaries of Collins Avenue have been altered
so that there now exists between Lot One of said subdivision
and the easterly line of Collins Avenue as it now exists, a
strip of land which is no longer used for highway purposes ;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach and the owners
of said Lot One have heretofore agreed that the City will
execute and deliver to said owners a quit-claim deed cover-
ing said strip of land, reserving and retaining to the
City, its successors and assigns, in and by said quit-claim
deed a permanent easement for the purpose of laying and
maintaining storm sewers, sanitary sewers, water mains,
electric and telephone lines, mains and conduits, and any
other public utilities, together with reasonable access
thereto for the purpose of constructing, repairing and
maintaining installations .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and
the City Clerk and Finance Director be and they acie dhereby
authorized and directed to execute said quit-claimlin the
name of and on behalf of said City, upon preparation thereof
by the City Attorney.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 16 day of Septeinbe'r;- 1970.
