13191 RESOLUTION NO. 13191
WHEREAS, Alfred A. Penfield has been a steadfast
and loyal public servant for nineteen fruitful years and is
the embodiment of all the virtues required of a fine civil
servant, and
WHEREAS, Alfred A. Penfield has been entrusted
by his fellow municipal employees with representing their
interests on the Pension Board of the Miami Beach Employees
Retirement System, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Penfield has, for nine years, executed
this trust with sincere dedication and adhered to the principle
of just and equal treatment for all members of the Pension
Fund of the City of Miami Beach, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Penfield has jealously guarded the
privileges bestowed upon the City of Miami Beach employees
through their membership in the said fund, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Penfield, in his capacity as Refuse
Division Supervisor, performs his duties with exemplary zeal,
and
WHEREAS, the said services have contributed greatly
towards protecting and maintaining a clean and healthful
environment for all the citizens of the City of Miami Beach,
and has made the City of Miami Beach a model of cleanliness
which all other municipalities envy;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that this City
Council wishes to acknowledge the contributions of Mr.
Penfield and offer heartfelt thanks and appreciation for
the loyal services Mr. Penfield has provided the people of
the City of Miami Beach.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution
be presented to Mr. Alfred A. Penfield.
