13279 RESOLUTION NO. 13279
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida., at its regular meeting held and convened
on February 17, 1971, duly authorized and approved the
execution of service contracts with Hazen-Trane Service
Agency and Carrier Air Conditioning Company for a five
(5) year period pursuant to Resolutions Nos. 13213A and
13213B, and
WHEREAS, thereafter at its regular meeting held
on May 5, 1971, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, reviewed said contract and said resolutions approving
the execution thereof, and now having determined that the
said contracts be amended and modified so as to clearly provide
that each of the said contracts are to be on a year to year
basis for a period of five (5) years, provided, however,
that each of the said contracts may be terminated by either
party upon thirty (30) days notice at any time during the
said contractual period;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the said
contracts, as modified hereby, be and the same are approved,
ratified and confirmed, and that the Mayor and City Clerk-
Finance Director be and they are hereby authorized and directed
to execute and deliver said contracts for and in the name of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, and that the appropriate
Finance Officers of the City be and they are hereby directed
to make the financial disbursements required hereunder.
