AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE
OPERATION OF AUTOMOBILES, MOTOR-
CYCLES, AND OTHER MOTOR VEHICLES
IN THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH BY
PERSONS UNDER SIXTEEN YEARS OF
AGE AND PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR
THE VIOLATION THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That on and after the passage of this Ordi-
nance, it shall be unlawful for any person or persons to
operate en automobile, motorcycle, or other motor vehicle,
within the corporate limits of the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
who shall not have attained the age of sixteen (16) years.
Section 2. That any person violating the terms of this
Ordinance shall, upon conviction, be subject to a fine of Two
Hundred Dollars, or imprisonment for not more than sixty days,
or both, at the discretion of the Municipal Judge.

the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, has been post-
ed by me in three conspicuous places in the City of Miami
Beach, onenof which was at the door of the City Hall in said
City on the 16th day of February, A. D., 1_928, and that said
ordinance remained posted for a period of at least thirty
days in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter
of the said. City of Miami. Beach.
