RESOLUTION NO. 13512
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach, Florida,, entered
into a Lease Agreement with Food Processing Machinery and
Supplies Association, dated March 17, 1966, and
WHEREAS, Food Processing Machinery and Supplies
Association will cancel the use of the Miami Beach Auditorium
for January 16-19, 1972, and the "out-of-pocket" payments
with a minimum guarantee of $1, 400. 00 set forth in the
contract are hereby eliminated, and
WHEREAS, all other terms and conditions, other
than those mentioned above remain the same as in the existing
contract and the added amendments of March 6, 1970 and May
6, 1971, i.e. Convention Hall North - 35per square foot net
commercial exhibit space with a minimum guarantee of $3, 000. 00
and Convention Hall South - 305 per square foot net commercial
exhibit space with a minimum guarantee of $6, 000. 00, and
WHEREAS, letters signed by the Acting Manager of
the Auditorium and Convention Hall, dated January 6 and 14, 1972,
amending the existing agreement between Food Processing
Machinery and Supplies Association and the City of Miami
Beach have been mailed to and accepted by Food Processing
Machinery and Supplies Association.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that letters dated
January 6 and 14, 19 72, signed by the Acting Manager of the
Auditorium and Convention Hall, amending the existing agreement
between Food Processing Machinery and Supplies Association
and the City of Miami Beach be and the same are hereby accepted
and approved in the name of and on behalf of said City.
