RESOLUTION NO. 13531
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of
Miami Beach, pursuant to the provisions of Section 16 of
the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of Miami
Beach (Ordinance No. 1891) , has recommended to the City
Council that the Planned Unit Development District No. 2,
embracing TRACT B OF THE INDIAN BEACH CORPORATION SUBDI-
VISION, Plat Book 8, Page 61, and LOTS 5 THROUGH 12 OF THE
FLAMINGO BAY SUBDIVISION, Plat Book 6, Page 101 (said
property being generally located on. the East side of Pine
Tree Drive and Northerly from the so-called Manilow Tract
at the Northeast corner of Arthur Godfrey Road [41st Street]
and Pine Tree Drive) , of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida, be rezoned to a suitable Single Family Residential
Use District, subject to the creation of an appropriate
buffer strip North of LOT 4 OF FLAMINGO BAY SUBDIVISION
(being a part of the so-called Manilow property) ,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that a public
hearing be and the same is hereby called to be held before
the City Council in the Council Chambers, Cypress Room of
the Miami Beach Convention Hall, beginning at 7 :30 o'clock
P.M. , Thursday, March 9, 1972, for the purpose of consider-
ing whether the said Planned Unit Development District No. 2
should be retained, reduced or changed to Single Family
Residential Zoning and to determine whether said Zoning
Ordinance should be amended in accordance with such findings
and determinations as may thereafter be reached.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City Clerk-Finance
Director be and she is hereby directed to give fifteen (15)
days notice of the time, place and object of said hearing
by public notice thereof, published in. Miami Beach Daily
Sun Reporter, a newspaper of general circulation in said
City.
