13585 RESOLUTION NO. 13585
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach, Florida, entered
into a Lease Agreement with Florida Education Association,
dated October 26, 1971, and
WHEREAS, Florida Education Association has released
the date of April 22, 1972 in the Miami Beach Auditorium
for their General Sessions and Meetings, and
WHEREAS, all other terms and conditions of the
existing Agreement shall remain the same except the payments,
which read as follows :
"Out of Pocket" expense with a minimum
guarantee of Five Hundred and no/100
($500. 00) Dollars. Total minimum
guarantee of Five Hundred and no/100
($500. 00 Dollars, "
and
WHEREAS, a letter signed by the Acting Manager
of the Auditorium and Convention Hall, dated March 20, 1972,
amending the existing Agreement between Florida Education
Association and the City of Miami Beach has been mailed to
and accepted by Florida Education Association.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the letter
dated March 20, 1972, signed by the Acting Manager of the
Auditorium and Convention Hall, amending the existing
Agreement between Florida Education Association and the City
of Miami Beach be and the same is hereby accepted and approved
in the name of and on behalf of said City.
