A RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE FAITHFUL
SERVICE OF JOSEPH ERODES AND EXPRESSING
SINCERE BEST WISHES OF THE CITY COUNCIL
FOR HIS CONTINUED HEALTH AND SUCCESS .
WHEREAS, Joseph Brodes has occupied an office of
high trust and responsibility in the Public Works Department
of the City of Miami Beach for over a quarter of a century,
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, has been advised of the intention of the said
Joseph Brodes to retire from his faithful service to the
City of Miami Beach and its citizenry, and
WHEREAS, few, if any, public servants have won
and held the affection, friendship and esteem of so many in
every walk of life, and
WHEREAS, the long chronicle of his accomplishments
during his faithful, loyal and devoted service to the City
and its citizens and residents will serve as an ever shining
and inspiring example to all those who have had the opportunity
and privilege of all who have known and worked with him;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR
AND EACH AND EVERY INDIVIDUAL MEMBER OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that this Resolution
be presented to the said Joseph Erodes as a permanent
expression of the appreciation of the said Mayor and City
Council, and of the citizens of the City of Miami Beach, for
his immeasurable contribution to the advancement and welfare
of the entire community, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND EACH AND
EVERY MEMBER OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA, that this Resolution be presented to the said Joseph
Erodes as a further expression of their most sincere and
profound best wishes for his continued health, success and
prosperity in all his future endeavors .
PASSED and ADOPTED this 5th day of April, 1972 .
