A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH , FLORIDA IMPOSING A
MORATORIUM ON ISSUANCE OF BUILDING PERMITS IN
PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT DISTRICTS NUMBERS 1
AND 2 FOR A PERIOD OF SIXTY DAYS FROM APRIL 5 ,
1972.
WHEREAS , the Council has decided that a portion of the
Zoning Ordinance should be revised so as to provide height
restrictions, density reduction and such other provisions as the
City Planners recommend; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable that a hiatus period be created
while Zoning Ordinance changes are being considered;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH:
That a moratorium be imposed on the issuance of building
permits in Planned Unit Development Districts numbers 1 and 2 for
a period of sixty days from April 5, 1972.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 5th day of April, 1972.
