RESOLUTION NO. 13622
WHEREAS, the DADE COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD has
offered to lease to the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH for play-
ground purposes the following described parcels of land
pertaining to the NORTH BEACH ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, to wit :
Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, of Block 3,
NURSERY SUBDIVISION of Miami Beach
Bayshore Company, Miami Beach, Florida,
according to the plat thereof as recorded
in Plat Book 23, at Page 66, of the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida, together
with that portion of West 42 Street South
of Block 3 between the West line of Block 3
extended southerly to the North line of
Block 1 and the East line of Block 3
extended southerly to the North line of
Block 1 of said Nursery Subdivision, other-
wise known as the north area at North Beach
Elementary School,
for a term of five (5) years commencing May 1, 1972 and
ending April 30, 1977 at an annual rental of $1.00, and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended the
entry into the said lease, and the City Attorney has
approved the said proposed written lease as to form,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the
Mayor and the City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized
and directed to execute and deliver said lease for and in
the name of the City of Miami Beach, Florida.
