13643 RESOLUTION NO. 13643
WHEREAS, the City Council is considering amending
Ordinance No. 1891, commonly known as the "Comprehensive
Zoning Ordinance of the City of Miami Beach, Florida", by
adding a new section thereto, immediately following Section
14-1.D, to be numbered and to read as follows :
"Section 14-1.E.
Upon good cause and upon presentation of
proper credentials, the Planning and Zoning
Director, or his authorized representative,
may enter at any reasonable time, any building,
structure or premises, for the purpose of
determining whether this ordinance is being
violated. In the event it is found and
determined that there are violations of this
ordinance, the Planning and Zoning Director,
or his authorized representative, is empowered
to issue a summons to the person or persons
violating the same. "
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that in accordance with
the provisions of Section 16 of said Ordinance, said
proposed amendment is hereby transmitted to the Planning
Board of the City of Miami Beach for the purpose of conducting
a public hearing thereon, and thereafter to report its
recommendations on said proposed amendment to the City
Council.
