13689 RESOLUTION NO. 13689 Upon Motion of Councilman Jerome G. Greene, it was RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that it is in the highest and best interests of all concerned that the United States Corps of Engineers ' property in South Beach, otherwise known as the Government Reservation, bordering Government Cut, should be made available by the Federal government for a camp site during the Republican National Convention for use by non-delegates. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolve be transmitted to the Honorable Richard M. Nixon, President of the United States. Upon Motion of Councilman Herbert Magnes, it was FURTHER RESOLVED that the same Resolve be transmitted to the Honorable Richard Herman of the Republican National Convention Site Committee.
