A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 13685
SO AS TO CHANGE THE DATE OF SALE OF
$6,075,000 GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS
WHEREAS, the City Council on August 2, 1972, adopted
Resolution No. 13685 providing, among other things, for the sale
of $6,075,000 General Obligation Bonds on September 20, 1972, at
11 :00 A.M. , and
WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the City Council that
the best interest of the City of Miami Beach would be served by
changing the date of sale so as not to be in competition with other
cities for the full attention of the municipal bond market;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Miami Beach, Florida, that Item 5 of said resolution be amended
to read:
5. That the City Council hereby establishes the date of October 4, 1972,
at 11 :00 o'clock a.m. to receive bids for the sale of these bonds
aggregating $6,075,000.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 16th day of August, 1972.
