13844 • RESOLUTION NO. 13844 A RESOLUTION OF COMMENDATION TO MRS . SOPHIE PRIMAK WHEREAS, Mrs. Sophie Primak a valued and cultured citizen and resident of this community has freely volunteered and dedicated countless hours of her time, effort and ener- gies to the advancement, enhancement and the promotion of the cultural interests of this community by giving monthly book re- views at the Miami Beach Public Library, open to all interested members of the public, and WHEREAS, the said Mrs . Sophie Primak has rendered such services freely, gratuitously and without the slightest desire or expectation of any financial remuneration or recom- pense, her sole and primary interest and motivation being to inspire and to inculcate a higher, deeper and greater love and appreciation for literature and its creators, and WHEREAS, it is meet, proper and appropriate that this community pay tribute to the said Mrs. Sophie Primak for her years of such dedicated services to the community and to its residents, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the City Council and each and every member thereof, and for and on behalf of this com- munity, its citizens and residents, do hereby warmly and enthus- iastically commend the said Mrs. Sophie Primak for said years of unselfish and devoted endeavors and that full measure of appre- ciation and gratitude is hereby expressed to the said Mrs. Sophie Primak, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that this resolution be spread upon the official records of this City and that a suitably engrossed copy hereof be presented to the said Mrs. Sophie Primak.
