RESOLUTION NO. 73-13897
WHEREAS, the United States Postal Service has
requested the City of Miami Beach to lease to said United
States Postal Service certain agreed upon space located in
the 900 block of the Lincoln Road Mall in the City of Miami
Beach for a term of five years beginning May 1, 1973, and
ending April 30 , 1978 for use as a "Self-Service Postal Unit"
upon certain conditions and provisions as set forth in a
proposed lease agreement, the terms of which are familiar to
the City Council, and
WHEREAS, said proposed lease provides for the
termination of said agreement by the United State Postal Ser-
vice at any time upon 30 days ' written notice; and by the
City of Miami Beach upon giving six months ' written notice,
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, deems it to be in the best interests of the City of
Miami Beach and its inhabitants that said lease agreement be
entered into ,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and the City
Clerk-Finance Director be and they are hereby authorized and
directed to execute the said agreement in the name of and on
behalf of the said City of Miami Beach.
