Ordinance 522 ORDINANCE NO. 522 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 289 BEING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE SAID CITY, SO AS TO DIVIDE THE USE CLASSIFICATION "BAKERIES" INTO "BAKERIES (RETAIL) AND BAKERIES (WHOLESALE) , AND TO PROVIDE FOR THE INCLUSION OF "BAKERIES (RETAIL) " IN THE USE DISTRICT "BA" AND OF "BAKERIES (WHOLESALE) " IN THE USE DISTRICT BC. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 289, as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by the addi- tion of definitions as follows, to be inserted alpha- beti cally: "1. BAKERIES (RETAIL) : A place of business for the retail selling on the premises only, of bakery products, including bread, rolls and. pastries, but not including other general food stuffs. May manufacture or cook on the premises for its retail demand, but shall not wholesale. 2. BAKERIES (WHOLESALE) : A place of business for the manufacturing or cook- ing of bread, rolls, pastries and other bakery products for wholesale demand. " SECTION 2: That Section 7 of Ordinance No. 289, as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by the addition of the use classification (4) BAKERIES (RETAIL) only upon approval and permit by the City Council, to be inserted after the present item (3) MEAT MARKETS, and the chant/V. of the present items numbered (4) through `(7n: to numbers (5) through # ')` ressectively. SECTION 3: That Section 9 of Ordinance No. 289, as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by the changing of item (19) BAKERIES to read (19) BAKERIES (WHOLESALE) . SECTION 4: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here- with are hereby repealed. SECTION 5: This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage, approval and posting in accord with law. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24th • pof Aug =t, A.
