82-17132 • RESOLUTION NO. 82-17132 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH'S SPONSORING THE PROPOSED SHIPMENT OF BOOKS TO ISRAEL AND LEBANON. WHEREAS , Mr . Harry Plissner has made initial contact necessary to secure books in the South Florida area; and WHEREAS , Mr . Plissner will take total charge of packaging, shipment, and distribution within Israel and Lebanon at his own expense; and WHEREAS, the City Commission considers this to be an extremely worthwhile project and would like the City to be con- sidered a co-sponsor of this project with B ' nai B ' rith Inter- national; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMIS- SION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH THAT THEY APPROVE THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH' S SPONSORING THE PROPOSED SHIPMENT OF BOOKS TO ISRAEL AND LEBANON.
