A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ESTABLISH
ONE SPECIAL REVENUE ACCOUNT AND ONE SPECIAL TRUST FUND
ACCOUNT TO OPERATE PROGRAMS UNDER THE COMMUNITY SERVICES
BLOCK GRANT AND COMMUNITY SERVICES TRUST FUND RESPEC-
TIVELY.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach adopted
Resolution No. 83-17245, directing the City Manager to execute and
deliver all required agreements to the State of Florida Department of
Veteran and Community Affairs for the Community Services Trust Fund,
under the Community Services Act of 1974 amounting to $10,000; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach adopted
Resolution No. 83-17280 directing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute and
deliver all required agreements to the State of Florida Department of
Community Affairs for the Community Services Block Grant; and
WHEREAS, the City Administration has received notification from
the State of Florida approving the allocation of funds for each of the
abovementioned grants; and
WHEREAS, the City Administration has received partial payments
in the amounts of $6,150 and $5,000 for the Community Services Block Grant
and Community Services Trust Fund respectively;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City Manager is hereby author-
ized and directed to establish one Special Revenue Account to be used to
facilitate the Community Services Block Grant and Special Trust Fund
Account to facilitate the Community Services Trust Fund for the operation
during the prescribed time period.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 15th day of June, 1983.
