RESOLUTION NO. 83-17418
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT
WITH JAMES G. THOMPSON, INC. FOR USE OF PARKING
SPACES IN OFF-STREET PARKING LOT 18X, LOCATED AT
65TH STREET AND INDIAN CREEK DRIVE .
WHEREAS, for the reasons more particularly set forth in
Commission Memorandum No. 502-83 , the City Commission of the City of
Miami Beach deems it to be in the best interest of the City to
enter into an agreement with James G. Thompson, Inc. for the lease
of parking spaces in off-street parking lot 18X, located at 65th
Street and Indian Creek Drive; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends the City enter into
said Agreement, and the City Attorney has approved same as to form
and legal sufficiency;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute and de-
liver said Agreement for and on behalf of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 20th day of July, 1983.

Dear Mr. Parkins .
Please refer to enclosed copy of letter requesting parking lease.
At this time we wish to withdraw our application for lease of subject parking
lot inasmuch as we were not contemplating the amount of money required to
obtain a lease.
We will be using metered parking for the time being.
