IItINEl^:EAS, Section 30 of the City Charter of the City
of Beach, authorizes the City Council, by ordinance or resolution
to issue bonds of the city for the payment of thecost of any one or
more street improvements, or any part of such cost, and for the re-
imburselent of any fund of the city from which any part of such cost
has theretofore been paid in an amount not greater than the contract
price, and the estimated amount of incidental expenses; and
y: REAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, by Resolution :o . 1, duly adopted May 5th, A. :i,. 1920, has
ordered the Improvement known and designated as Highway Improvement
Nos. 5, 6, 8 and 9; Hig:hway i✓istricts Fos . 5, 6, 8 an2 9, and by
Resolution No. 3, adlpted July 7th, A. ] . 1920 , has duly confirmed
and ordered the construction of Highway Improvements Noe . 5, 6, 8 aLd 9
Highway i,istricts, Nos . 5, 6, 8 and 9, by grading and paving with
broken stone and bituminous surface of sand and oil, certain streets
and highways described in said Resolution No. 1, and
TEER S, after the advertisement, in accordance with
the City Charter, the work of constructing said improvements was awarded
on the unit basis, and contracts therefor were duly made, and that as
computed by the City . _ :.ineex, the amount of the City' s obligation
thereunder is, 086, 774.05; and
FERE S, the City Ln ire er has duly reported to the
City Council his estimate of the incidental expenses of said improve-
ments therein as estimated as such expenses the sum of $5, 685.48 ; and
the computation by the City Itn`•ineer of the
amount of the city' s obligation has been confirmed by the City Council:
