That the City Clerk is directed to discon- tinue publication of a notice calling for sealed bids to be received on September 13, 1922 for 0232,000 Bonds of the City of Miami Beach and to advise all inquirers that no bids will be received and no action taken pursuant to such notice. Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice by publishing at leant once in the Miami Herald, published in Ldami , <_nc if he deem it expedient in any other journal or journals published in Florida or elsewhere, that sealed bids will be received until 7: 30 October 18th, 1922, for ;93,000 Improvement Bonds, Series E, c70,000 Sewage Dis )osal Bonds and ; 55,000 Sanitary Sewer Bonds, which notice shall be published not later than the tenth day before said date for receiving bids in said Miami Herald, and as published in that journal shall be in substantially the following form, but may be in an abbreviated form ns published elsewhere: 0218 ,000 CITY OF MIAMI B2„ CH uOLD BODS Sealed bids will be received by the City, Council, in cane of the undersigned, at his office in Miami Beach, ;Florida, until 7 : 30 2. October 18 , 1922, for the following bond issued of the City of Miami Bench, Florida, dated July 1, 1922 and bearing interest at 6 per annum, payable In the first days of January and July, ..mnually, at the united States Mortgage & Trust Company, New York City, in gold: 93,000 Improvement Bonds, Series E, for improvement of streets : ..d sidewalks, and construction of storm sewers , matur- ing annually, July 1, 48 ,000 1924 to 1926, 49 ,000,000 1927 and 1928, 410,000 '1929 to 1931, ,,11 ,000 1932 and. 10 ,000 1933. 470000 Sewage Disposal Plant Bonds, matur- ing annually, July 1, 45,000 1924 to 1937. . 45,000 sanitary Se,=er Bonds, maturing an- nually, July 1, 12,000 1924 to 1937 , p7 ,000 1938 to 1940 and 46,000 1941. 11 bonds are general city obligations and thelaw re- quires an unlimited general property tax without limit for the payment of principal and interest. The bonds will be prepared under the supervision of the united states Mortgage & Trust Company, ITau York City, which will certify as to the genuineness of the signatures of the City officials and the seal impressed thereon, and the legality of said bonds will be approved by Chester B. Masslich, Esg. New York City, whose approving opinion will be furnished the purchasers without charge. Bids are required up n. forms which, with additional formation as to the city, will he furnished by the under- sitgned or said Trust Company and must be aapotpanied by a certified check, payable to the order of the City of i:iiami Beach, for 2;0 of face value of bonds for which bid is sub- mitted, drawn upon a bank or trust co:many. Delivery of bonds on or about October 20th, 1922 , in iiiami Beach or in New York City; elsewhere at purchasers' expense. The right to reject any and all bids is reserved. C. r. That tho Clerk is directed to have printed through the Untted States Mortgage & Trust Company a form of proposal for said bonds, in a. leaflet or circular which will also contain the offical advertisement and a statistical statement concerning the city.
