AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5 OF
ORDINANCE NO. 94 OF THE CIT'I OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ENTITLED "AN
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA, IMPOSING LICENSES AND OTHER
TAXES ON PRIVILEGES, BUSINESSES,
OCCUPATIONS AND PROFESSIONS CARRIED
ON AND ENGAGED IN WITHIN SAID CITY,
AND PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR THE ,
EXERCISING OF SUCH PRIVILEGES OR
CARRYING ON SUCH BUSINESSES, OCCUPATIONS
OR PROFESSIONS, WITHOUT A LICENSE OR
OTHER FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE PRO-
VISIONS THEREOF. "
'BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That that portion of Section 5 of Ordinance No.
394, of the City of Miami Beach, Florida read-
ing as follows:
"Music or Picture Taking Machines, each machine, $25.00"
be and the same hereby is amended so as to read as follows:
"Music Boxes, Mechanical Phonographs, Consoles or
Juke Boxes, each machine, $50.00
Picture Taking Machines, each machine 25.00. "
SECTION 2. That this Ordinance shall go into effect immedi-
ately upon its becoming a law.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 6th day of January, A. D. , 1943.

NO. 394 OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ENTITLED "AN
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, IMPOSING LICENSES
AND OTHER TAXES ON PRIVILEGES, BUSINESSES, OCCUPATIONS AND
PROFESSIONS CARRIED ON AND ENGAGED IN WITHIN SAID CITY, AND
PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR THE EXERCISING OF SUCH PRIVILEGES OR
CARRYING ON SUCH BUSINESSES, OCCUPATIONS OR PROFESSIONS, WITHOUT
A LICENSE OR OTHER FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE PROVISIONS
THEREOF" , having been passed and adopted by the City Council
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in
three conspicuous places in the City of Miami Beach, one of
which was at the door of the City Hall in said City on the
7th day of January, A. D. , 1943 and that said Ordinance re-
mained posted for a period of at least thirty days in accor-
dance with the requirements of the City Charter of the said
City of Miami Beach.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my
hand and affixed the official seal of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, on this 3rd day of March, A. D. , 1943.
